Precinct Chairs
Precinct Chairs are party officials, elected to a two-year term in the Democratic Party Primary. They lead a small geographic area, and are responsible for organizing and turning out Democratic voters in their precinct to the elections.
Become a Precinct Chair
The County Chair will help get you signed up as an official precinct chair, or help get your name on the ballot. Once you’re officially a Precinct Chair, you’ll get to network with local leaders and institutions in your area, and help organize the party and turn out the vote. You’ll get access to special trainings on how to message, fundraise, and run an awesome ground game, and you’ll have the opportunity to work with other passionate, motivated people like yourself.

“Change doesn’t come from the people who benefit from the status quo - it comes from we the people. If we want better, then we, the people, have to make it happen. That’s why I joined the Democratic Party, because I decided that I wasn’t going to put my faith in billionaires and politicians who don’t care about me.”
— Tierr'ishia B Gibson, GCDP Chairwoman
A County Judge who wasted 6 million taxpayer dollars to create a Polio task force.
A Congressman who voted against the Violence Against Women Act, allowing domestic abusers to keep their guns even when their actions put women’s lives in immediate danger.
State lawmakers who made sure that women impregnated from rape or incest couldn’t get an abortion.
A governor who prioritized the right to make others sick instead of putting forth common sense solutions to end the pandemic.
A state that decided to marginalize the working class and people of color by making it harder for us to vote.
